Act your age, not your shoes size. This is something that bothers me from time to time. No, not the saying but the idea, I think when young we all know better. We are all capeable of speaking 'better' whatever that may be and making less clumsy decisions but as we are young we know this is what is expected of us, this is what we can get away with and won't be able to one day. That's another point, in our minds we know an awful lot about expectationsm if not just the steroitypical way age groups might stand but the choices we make. At any age we know, I belive, that we are capeable to an extent to behave well abve our years. But then again we make the decision not to .
I thought of this today, although I usualy do when I'm being stupid and know I can so better. In the supermarket the old bag serving us wasn't making the slighteset effort. You are supposed to , whenyou work at the supermarket checkout. Not start serving the next person until the current is finished and off whereas she was off and away, Not a pleasent "Hello" or "Goodye" not a change from her dull face and yet she knows what her work colleuges are capeable of and what she would like when buing her pint of milk. But as she is a bit of an oldbag she dosen't need to.Mabey it's just be, as usual !
